We at Elora Optometry are continuing to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and want to assure you our priority is the health and safety of our patients and staff. We are following the advice provided by the Canadian and provincial health officials, and ensuring our clinic has taken extra precautionary measures to reduce the risk of transmission.
To limit the number of people in our office at any given time, we now require appointments for all visits including eye exams, frame selection, eyewear repairs and adjustments, and for pick-ups and drop-offs. We will continue doing curbside pick-up as often as possible. Contact lenses and dry eye products are available to purchase online at our website www.eloraoptometry.com for curbside pick- up or home delivery.
We have introduced additional sanitization procedures for all high contact areas within the clinic, including but not limited to: phones, desks, door handles, payment terminals. We will be sanitizing all equipment and tools after each use including display frames after they are tried on.
Hand sanitizer dispensers are available at many points in the clinic.
We have removed all frequently used, and not easily cleaned items in our waiting area such as magazines and toys.
All staff and optometrists are required to wear PPE (personal protective equipment), and all patients entering the clinic are required to wear a mask and sanitize their hands.
For the safety of our community, if you are experiencing any symptoms such as a fever, cough, difficulty breathing or have concerns with your health, we kindly request that you contact us to reschedule your appointment.
As the situation continues to evolve, we are closely monitoring and adjusting our procedures to ensure we follow the latest health guidelines.
Your health important to us as we continue to provide eye care solutions to our community.
We look forward to seeing you!
